In Like A Lion
We have seen every type of weather the seasons have to offer in March. You just never know what this month will bring. This year, it began with snow and a roaring wind that lasted 2 days and created some beautiful drifts. Some of them are very impressive. Once the back roads are cleared, it would be worth a drive out to where there are more trees to see more of Mother Nature's decor.
It is still beyond reason how cold it is out there, so I quickly grabbed my phone out of my pocket to take a few photos around my yard. What a big change! The weather never ceases to impress me.
Whoa! Look at all of that snow! They are saying we may get some in NC on Sunday...hope not, I am ready for spring!
ReplyDeleteSeems like there's no end to the snow, doesn't it? We're back to almost bare ground again in southern ON and we had strong winds today but I'm sure we'll get dumped on before long. I've been looking at the drifts at a friend in Manitoba's yard on FB; haha, she's not amused.
ReplyDeleteYour drifts are beautiful! We are expected to get snow this weekend. Had a couple of days of snow this whole winter and now it wants to show up again.
ReplyDeleteTruly amazing and gorgeous pictures! Have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteHello, the snow looks sculptured. Very pretty scenes. Love the dog, so cute. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteOh those drifts!! What amazing sculptures the wind creates :) We've had a couple of days of bitterly cold winds, but snow has been gone for a couple of weeks now. Winter coats are still required though ;)

Oh wow, Andrea! Those wind sculpted drifts are spectacular against the blue sky!
ReplyDeleteI just had to come across from Eileen's blog.
ReplyDeleteThese are so lovely to look at.
All the best Jan
It may be cold but it sure is beautiful. Enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteAndrea, you captured Mother Nature's art beautifully! Enjoyed the read as well as the photos, great job!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful but I'm ready for Spring flowers and April showers! We've had a warm winter for Ohio but tomorrow they're calling for 5-8 inches of snow so I guess my yard will look like yours! Your dog is beautiful! He looks like one my in-laws had many years ago.
ReplyDeleteWow! Some of those drifts look "dangerous", but oh so pretty too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots. We saddly have only seen small portions of winter beauty I missed it. LOVE the last shot. Hug B
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos Andrea, I love your dog!
ReplyDeleteWow, these are great! It looks beautiful but very cold. The drifts are incredible! I'm also tired of the cold and wind but at least it's been sunny and the snow is melting. I'm so ready for spring and warmer temperatures. Have a nice weekend! Linda
