Pictures As Promised

A few more changes in the yard begged for several snapshots to be taken.  Seeing as how I have quite a few shots to show you, I'll keep the words short.

Some time out to lie in the grass....

And gaze up the sky.

Watching the marigolds grow.

The ninebark in bloom and watch out for the swarm of bees as you walk by.

Another nest.

This one belongs to this pretty mama Killdeer

Goutweed. So much prettier than its name.

Hostas are having their best year yet.

Lamium looks gorgeous among rocks

Calabrochoa looking gorgeous as a greeter to the fire pit.

A peaceful evening walk. A long day of strong winds led into a perfectly calm night.

  3. All of the pictures are pretty but I especially love the last one. I remember as a kid, lying on the grass looking up at the clouds. I also remember making bracelets with clover! Hope you have a nice day.

  10. Very pleasant post. Wow that first shot was quite a view as was the last one. I think Killdeer are so cute. How fun to have nest to enjoy, just don't get to close. There was one once that built her nest and laid her eggs in the church gravel parking lot.

  11. Lovely shots, especially the last one, which is a real peach. I've never heard of 'ninebark', but it looks very pretty and it encourages bees then it's obviously on the side of the good guys.
