Tangling Again

I don't know if I would have tried zentangling again if it were for my daughter doing a major cleaning of her room, and getting rid of all the things she no longer wanted.  I kept a few things she had packed up for Good Will, including a Zentangle workbook. I've done it before, but never with step-by-step instruction. I have to say, I'm glad I gave it another go from a different angle this time. Here are some of the ones I quite satisfied with.

    Oh how wonderful Andrea. I love zentangles and often thought how I would love to try. This ended up being a wonderful clear out/gift from your daughter. I imagine it's very therapeutic. The pictures are great you should get them framed!

Snow Day!

It has been a wonderful, drawn out fall.  I've enjoyed easy walks around my yard well into December, and more time outdoors than I usually get during these first two winter months. This balance between indoors and outdoors is essential to keeping me feeling good.  I hate being cooped up in the house for too long without a breath of fresh air.  It makes me tired, and I'm a grouch when I'm tired. Yesterday, Old Man Winter decided to correct his oversight in our corner of the world, and deposited between 6 and 8 inches of snow.  It looked light and fluffy, but it was actually very dense and it took a lot of work on my husband's part to tidy up the driveway.
