The Great Blue Heron

I sure do get excited when I get the opportunity to photograph one of these beautiful birds! We were on our way into the city, not yet far from home when I spotted this fella, and had my husband slow down, stop and back up. Luckily, he had encouraged me to bring my camera because you never know!

    We had tons of these in Florida. I didn't realize they went that far north. You got some lovely photos.

Hi everyone!  I'm Andrea and I live in Saskatchewan, Canada.  I'm surrounded by farmland and we are in the dead of winter, so with the outdoors being so completely asleep, here I am in blogland, whittling down the coldest days of the year.
