Winter Pastime
I received this jigsaw on Christmas Day and I thing I started it on Boxing Day. I finished it before the New Year. It's 1000 pieces, and upon studying the image, I thought it would be fairly simple. I was wrong. Progress was slow at first because it seemed everything was green. I'm glad I persevered though as it is a beautiful scene. Now if I could only figure out how to move in.
It's a beautiful design. Congrats on getting it completed!

Hi Andrea - the lights are on and waiting for you ... delightful puzzle to puzzle over - glad you finished it and it inspires you to move in ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteI love puzzles, it looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Puzzles are amazing aren't they? I do puzzles on jigsawplanet on-line but they only go up to 300 pieces max. This is a beautiful picture.
ReplyDeleteI'm horrible at puzzles but actually enjoy them once I get started. That looks like a Thomas Kinkade and his paintings always make me want to stop and visit! We're getting tons of snow this weekend so I'm home hoping not to get called into work and doing a lot of post holiday cleaning. Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteHello, it is a pretty puzzle. I am glad you were able to finish it. Happy Monday, enjoy your day and new week ahead.
ReplyDeleteI have no patience for puzzles. That one is very pretty and does look like a peaceful place to live.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful jigsaw there! It will be a hard move to put it back in the box!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a wonderful week!

Oh Andrea, what a beautiful puzzle! My husband and son love to do puzzles together and I must say that I admire those of you who like puzzles...I tend to walk away from them within 5 minutes {{smiles}}
